Welcome to Ashy’s Cricket Academy – a charitable cricket facility in the heart of Leyland. We’re dedicated to using cricket as a tool to support, educate, and empower individuals and communities. Our new centre is set to open in Summer 2026, offering professional coaching and community-focused space for everyone.
We were recently lucky enough to be featured by BBC Lancashire Sport – “The Story Behind the charity – Ashy’s Cricket Academy 🏏“. Listen to the story and join us in the future.
We believe cricket should be accessible and inclusive for everyone, welcoming people of all ages and abilities, including disadvantaged communities.
From beginners to experienced players, our indoor academy provides a supportive environment to help individuals develop their skills.
We proudly serve Leyland, Preston, Lancashire, and the surrounding communities across North West England.
Our mission goes beyond cricket. At Ashy’s, we focus on well-being, opportunity, and social inclusion. With the right coaching, facilities, and support, we help individuals develop both on and off the pitch.
We’re creating a facility that welcomes people of all abilities and ages.
Our activities support physical health, social connection, and skill improvement.
We partner with schools and groups to expand access to coaching and mentorship.
Together with local groups, we provide guidance and structure to nurture young talent.
Ashy’s new six-lane indoor centre is currently in development. Designed with sustainability and accessibility in mind, it will offer net hire, coaching, and community use.
